I got 72 percentile in jeemains January and i got 82.7 percentage in my board exams . Can i expect an admission in any of the NITs ? ST cat

NIT  generally has very less cutoff for ST. So if you have a new NIT in your home state then probably you  can get a less demanded branch under home sate quota in your home state nit.This is the best you can expect.

No, you cant.With that percentile you may possibly get JEE-Main Rank 297025.And with that you cant get NIT.You can get colleges like

  • Ujjain Engineering College, (Formaly Govt. Engg. College Ujjain(UEC) (1966)
  • Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of science and technology , murthal district sonepat
  • Annie Institute of Technology and Research Centre,Chhindwara (2013)
