I got 73 marks in TS EAMCET and I got 586/600 in boards.Can I get seat in JNTUH or OU in any top 10 branches. I belong to OC caste.

As you are aware that J N T U H and o u are the top universities that come under EAMCET in in Hyderabad so you need be in the top list for securing the seat in this colleges

As you got 73 marks in EAMCET and 586 marks in the group subjects in your Ipe intermediate examinations so I have calculated your rank taking your caste into consideration and it was around 8000 with this rank you will not able to get seats in JNTU Hyderabad and Osmania University as many seats got filled up before the 1000 rank in OC category and 1200 to 1300 in BC category if ST SC ok consider it may go upto 3000 and more if you want seat in core branches it is difficult and impossible to get with this marks . 8000 is not a bad thing but with this you cannot get a Nicole branches in top 10 colleges as you belong to OC caste you need to try for non core branches like civil ,biotechnology ,chemical and some other like it, mechanical any more.

So my advice is to choose some good college with non core branch but if you are really interested in choosing core branches like cse,ece ,eee you need to take into some other colleges that arr in top 20 you can easily get into top 20 colleges with this rank.

Always look for a better seat you deserve for never miss a seat that you deserve and if you have any national level sports participation or ncc certificate you will have some reservation which may be acting as great help to you.

So be wise while applying for the counselling .
