as you have mentioned you want to opt EC. if you are taking admission through general category it is difficult to get in these colleges for EC as EC is one of top branches.
if you are belong to any category like 1AG,1AK,1AR,2AG,2BR,etc or if youbelong to SC/ST ,there are chances that you may get as cut off for them is higher than the rest
from your rank you can try in dayanand sagar, nitte meenakshi, CMRIT,PES college of engineering (mandya)
