Sorry to say but 74000 isn't a very good rank though the cut offs for diffrent branches of VIT in different brances aren't out yet and they may cary from the previous years cut offs as the cut offs depends upon various factors like, number of applicants fill the form, number of applicants finally appeared in the exam, number of questions asked in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, performance of the candidate, previous year's cut offs trends, availability of seats in the institution. But if we look on previous years cut off the last closing rank waa around 50k that too for production and industrial egineering . But you can attend it's councelling and hope for the best.
