Let me first tell you that jEE is not everything.

As you have already given CBSE improvement exam and have secured 74% which doesn't satisfy the eligibility criteria as required.

So, there is no need to waste another year for giving JEE and improvement exam .

There are many college other than NIT/IITs which are also very good.

You can try for them.

There, is no need to waste another year.

Or you can take admission in any college and simultaneously prepare for JEE.
