Hello Aspirant,

The Exam is easy to crack if it is planned & followed by you properly as a clear study plan is the key to success in any exam. I would suggest you to go through well with NCERT books, It will help you for your basic concept.

Here are some of the preparation tips, You can follow for the Exam.

Work on a Time Table : After carefully checking the syllabus of JEE Main work towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left.

Hey there. Firstly it is very important that you grasp each and every concept of the mains syllabus very clearly. One year time after 12th is a lot of time to finish your portion. According to me, self study is the best guide. Devote the mornings towards grasping the concepts and spend the evenings towards working out problems. Plan out your time table according to the priorities of the lessons. Solving previous year's question papers and model papers is what you can do the best. One year of time is surely enough when you have already secured 75% in your boards. All you need to do is work little hard and grasp in that 25% too. Best of luck. Hope this helps.

Hi Aspirant,

It's a big yet necessary step that you have taken, not many have the courage to fight for their dream/ aim. Since you mentioned that you aren't aware of some of the concepts of class 11 and 12 levels, I suggest you take baby steps and start reading from NCERT initially especially Chemistry. NCERT books are simplified and yet covers all the crevices necessary towards completion of the subject. Once you are done with one topic, solve the intext and exercise questions.

Now, realize that to crack JEE you need to have a clear mindset and need to be strong and dedicated towards your mission to crack the exam. Now once you have completed NCERT and have grasped the basics of a topic go further for advanced books where there are simplified techniques and approaches to solve a problem and also refer to books that have a diverse set of questions. In Physics, you can refer to I.E. Irovdov, H.C.Verma, etc for a diverse collection of numerical and strategies. Make it a point to solve at least 15 mathematics problems daily if not more. For chemistry, understand the topics very well and make your concepts very very clear and make it a point to solve all the questions in NCERT.

You can also try enlisting yourself in some coaching center for a guided approach but make it point that self-study is of utmost importance. Also, solve previous year questions of JEE as much as possible.

BEST WISHES!

Hi

You do not need to know each and every concept.

1. Learn few really important, in the sense, the ones which are quiet frequently been asked.

2. Practice the ones you have learnt.

3. Revise before learning and starting anything new. Revise every topic and formulae which you learn on the way.

4. Do not go on learning everything. Whatever you learn, revise that and be content.

Best of Luck.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Hello,

You have scored the required percentage in class 12th to be eligible,so now you have to focus only on jee and not boards.

You should try to focus only on jee mains if you want to get admission in top nits.

Always stick to the syllabus and solve more and more questions each day.

Attempt previous years question paper to boost your confidence.

Practice hard and learn the concepts and then you can definitely crack jee mains.

All the best

I don't know most of the concepts.. Should I focus on learning concepts or practice questions? Or do both simultaneously?
One more thing.. My 12th percentage is 74.5% but PCM percentage is 78%... Does jee consider whole percentage or only PCM?
