Hello dear..

Well, if you are a general category student, then you need to score a bit more than a reserved category student.

Although the qualifying marks depends on various factors like no. of students, difficulty level of questions, seats available etc., on an average, we can say, that for a general candidate, if you score more than 60%, then you are on safer side, score between 50–60%, you still have good chances that you will be selected, while score less than 50%, then danger zone, but in 2nd and 3rd round of counselling, you have some chances.

Please note that these figures mostly depends on the difficulty level, so if, for you, the questions are harder than previous year, don’t worry, it will be harder for every Indian giving that same exam at that moment.
