If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced
But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

Hello,
You may secure 255750 - 287500 overall expected rank with 75 percentile. The percentile score is just above the previous year JEE Main cut off percentile for EWS category which was 70.2435518. You may not get admission in NITs or IIITs. By comparing the previous year cut off trends your percentile score should be minimum 97-98 percentile and your category rank should be within 4000 to get seat in NIT or IIIT. Admission to IIT is based on merit in JEE Advanced. You need to qualify in JEE Main to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
By comparing the previous year qualifying cut off percentile you may qualify in JEE Main so if you are seeking admission in to IIT you can prepare for JEE Advanced.
Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
