As this is the first time when two exams arw being held for JEE. It is not clear till now who wiol be giving JEE advance exam so here i can give only a rough idea about this like previous year students getting 75-78 percentile may he eligible for JEE advance. As 2,28,000 are going to appear so i think this percentile is safe but to appear in advanced exam one should have scored 75% in 10+2 and for SCs and STs it is 65%.
The cut off score for jee mains depend on the below mentioned factors :
1. The number of students who appeared to give the exam
2. The number of applications received for the particular programme as reffered by the candidate
3. The total number of available seats
4. The difficulty level of the exam
