I got 78 percentile in MHT CET which government college I may get for chemical engineering or IT in general category

You haven't mentioned your Category. At this point in time, the State Common Entrance Test Cell hasn't released the cut offs yet for MHT CET 2020.  But going by the expected percentile for this year available at our article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff#MHT-CET-2020-Percentile-Vs-Ranks-Expected , your rank might be 32,001 – 41,000 your score might be approximately 80-90..And with this score, going by your previous years data, you might have chances in:
