i got 78.37 percentile in mains and i am a sc candidate can i get a seat in nit

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you can get some of the moderate NITs like NIT Goa, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Silchar and likewise as per previous year's cut-offs if you deserves Home state quota for them but yes if you don't deserves Home state quota I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
