I got 79.33(EE, Gen) marks in gate 2019. is there any chance for old IITs

Congratulations for so good marks GATE!!!!
The GATE cutoff majorly depends upon the GATE score. With this score you can easily apply for old IITs.... IIT Roorkee at least is easily possible to get. You can also try in IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, etc.
