Hello Aspirant,

It's difficult to provide you the exact about the exact rank & admission possibilities. But as per the previous year cutoff, The chances are very less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs. You can go for the state level counselling.

You may also calculate your expected rank by this formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN

Apply to Amrita University B.Tech 2025

Using the formula

(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100

Your probable general rank will be 1,73,802.

You can check your state level counselling admission possibilities with JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.

Good Luck!

Hello!
The cutoff of last year for qualifying for jee advanced were as follows-
Common Rank List-89.7548849
Gen EWS-78.2174869
OBC NCL-74.3166557
SC-54.0128155
ST-44.3345172
PWD-0.11371730
Now since you belong to OBC -NCL and have 79.76 percentile you should be qualifying for jee advanced

Its difficult to predict actual rank or JEE advanced qualify marks. you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100 . If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100
So according to me your rank will be around 2,40,000
and at this rank it is extremely difficult to get any NIT or IIIT even of your domicile state is bihar, So I suppose you should try to improve your performance in JEE April and try to score at least 95+ percentile to get a seat in NIT patna or any other NIT/IIIT.

Wishing you all the best
