Hi,

The seat allotment of NITs depends on factors like Gender, Category, Community, Home state etc. Your profile says you belong to Assam. So your best chance to get NITs lies in NIT- Silchar. The Last admitted rank in 2020 at NIT Assam had ST rank of 2802. So with 7000 ST rank, it is difficult to get NITs. Since you belong to North Eastern States, you are eligible for CSAB-NEU Councelling. I suggest you to apply for that. You could get some good colleges in that councelling.

In order to know what other colleges you could get with JEE Mains rank use this tool: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

Thanks!!!!!
