Hello Aspirant,

As you have not mentioned your category so here answer is based on assuming the category as general. So according to your percentile your CRL rank is very low and based on this rank it is very difficult to get any colleges. Also you have not mentioned your state so here I listed some colleges which you can get only when you have state quota for that particular college otherwise their is no chance to get any college.

For getting college with this rank you have to go for the state college counselling.

  • Assam university Silchar
  • Pondicherry engineering college
  • NIT Agartala
  • NIT Puducherry
  • NIT Meghalaya

For more college you can go through the given link and predict your college based on your category and home state:-

Dear student,

Now till last year, there was a class 12th eligibility criteria that students must have to pass their class 12 with 75% aggregate marks and it was mandatory till 2019.
But from this year due to this covid-19 pandemic the class 12th passing eligibility criteria has been given a relaxation, and now you just have to pass your class 12th exam and there is no such criteria this year that you must secure 75% in a class 12th board exams.
So, that means if you have qualified the jee mains exam then you can definitely get nits or iiits even if you scored just 79% in your class 12th exams.

But that was all about class 12th eligibility criteria. Now if you want to take admission in NIT or IIIT then you have to qualify the JEE mains exam. If you are a general category student then sorry you have not qualified the JEE Mains examination with your 80 percentile score and hence you cannot get any NIT or IIIT.
But if you belong from some other categories like OBC or SC or St or ews category then you can compete for any nits or iiits because you have qualified for JEE mains exam but you will not get any NIT or IIIT etc. So as you secured 79% in class 12th exams and 80 percentile in JEE mains exam then there is very negligible chance that you can get any NIT or IIIT or gftis because you have passed your class 12th but still you do not have secured much good percentile score in your JEE Mains to get any nits or iiits or gftis ( cftis).

And check out our JEE mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea colleges that you can get on basis of your JEE mains rank :-
