83 percentile  could fetch you a rank around 173910-195500.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have fair chances to fetch seat in nits,iiits. based on last year cutoffs for round 6 closing ranks,you have few chances to fetch seat in nit nagaland,nit agartala,iiit ranchi,nit manipur.but not the top branches.to fetch a seat in top nits with good branches you need a percentile above 95-97+.
