With 85% marks in 12th Board Exams, you can choose any engineering field you seek, provided that you clear the various engineering entrance examinations. It all comes down to various parameters such as your talent, your interests, your family's aspirations etc.

Yes, Few companies maintain a criteria of minimum 60% in Class 12, in order to appear for the campus placements. But, you can do well in upcoming years. If you can achieve some goals in next years then many companies will not see your 12th result. Now, many companies choose candidates on outcome base so it will not be much hard for you. But Study Hard and you will get Bright Future in upcoming years :)

I will be suggesting you the most suitable branch for the bright future but for that you have to specify me what are your interest and what is your strong subject?

Its all about your passion so try to figure out what you like most then decide the stream.
