Hello aspirant
For Admission to NSIT now known as NSUT, Delhi, you should secure at least 60% marks in PCM
( 50% for OBC- NCL, 55%for PWD , in PCM)
admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE through jossa.
Expected cut off to qualify Jee main is 89 + percentile . So 85 percentile will be considered l little low. But you may get a seat in NSIT. It depends on cut off of NSIT 2020. It also depends on number of candidates qualified in JEE . difficulty level of exam .
Last year's cut off of NSIT for different categories
are shown below (2019 cut off, NSUT)
B tech computer science last round 1121 rank
B tech IT 4 the found 3028 by rank
B tech In biotechnology 4 the found 11195
HI Khushi,
For percentile of 85 your general rank should be more than 1.5 lakh and your obc rank should be 45k which makes it hard for you to get admission in NSIT(now NSUT) delhi. If you are a general or obc candidate, then forget getting admission there with this rank, unless some magic happen ,like getting a seat at spot round. If you have sc, st, pwd single girl child or kashmiri migrant quota then you can think of getting admission in NSIT otherwise NO.
I hope this answer will help. All the best for the future!!
