Hello Aspirant. You have mentioned your percentile but didn't mention the caste where you come from. So, I assume you are from General category and I will try to answer this question based on that.
As per your percentile, your AIR should lie within the range of 146494 - 164680 in Common Rank List. Based on the previous years' data and your performance and caste, it is less likely for you to get any chance to grab a seat at any branch of top NITs, if you are from General category. To be eligible for admission in any branch of NITs, General candidates are required to score a minimum of 95+ percentile score while the reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC) need to secure 80+ percentile score to get seat for at least non-core branches in NITs.
In terms of rank, a candidate should have less than AIR 10,000 . However, newer NITs accept candidates with a rank greater than 70,000 in JEE Main.
