I got 86.33 percentile in jan attampt. I am an sc Candidate belong to state assam. can I get admission in nit silchar in cse or ece brance. by both reserved categy and hs can I get seat?

86.33 percentile means your expected rank would be around 1,18,793. This would be your rank in Common Rank list. Now if the no. Of candidates in Jee Main September Session increases, then your rank would also increase. You can use our college predictor tool to know where you have good chances
Now you belong to any SC category then you can expect Civil Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation engineering in NIT Silchar under home state quota. cutoffs for ece branch is also high. now we don't have category rank, as both the sessions not yet conducted. it might be difficult to get ece there.

As I said, it all depends on cutoffs. You have very slim chances of getting Ece based on last few years' cutoffs.
