Here is the Admission Qualification for B.Com.(hons)from St. Xavier's College,Kolkata-



1.A candidate may be admitted to the B.Com (Honours) course provided he/she has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (plus two course) conducted by West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination recognized as such by University of Calcutta, subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions :



2.A candidate applying for Honours must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in at least four subjects including English and Maths/B.Maths/Stats and must have passed in all subjects as per the respective board/council pass marks.



3.For applying to B.Com, Maths / Business Maths / Statistics is compulsory in Plus-II level.



Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination followed by interview.



31 May 2019 is the date for commencement of admission applications for UG courses. (Note- This is a tentative date. So be in touch with the official website of the College for regular and correct updates).

You can get admission there as the eligibility is 60% and you have scored more than that but you have to go through the entrance test and also the interview after that if you clear those two rounds you will get admission there.
