With a rank of around 43,000 in obc category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the top ten NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. The best NIT's had a closing rank of around 20,000 in obc category under the home state quota. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
