Minimum cut off mark for qualifying for jee advance is 67 percentile for ews category. So you are qualified for jee advanced. But with 87 percentile it will be difficult to get a seat in NIT for core branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering etc. But there are many other colleges giving admission on basis of jee. So you can try in those colleges. Also you can appear for jee advance. With the above mentioned percentile score in JEE mains, your overall predicted rank (CRL) will be around 130432 - 146625 and your EWS category rank will be around 22k-24k (predicted). With this rank and performance it is nearly difficult to get any core branches in any good and top NIT's. This is because the required percentile and the rank for EW category in order to get into some good and top NIT are around 96+ percentile and within 30K rank in JEE mains.
But do not worry as you will surely get many state level engineering colleges in UP as you must be having the domicile of UP. There are many colleges (State level Engineering colleges) which will take admission on the basis of the JEE mains scorecard.
