To qualify for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs etc you need to secure minimum of 75% in boards or be in top 20percentile of the board results. As per your marks (98%) you are eligible for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs. (The above data is for general and OBC candidates, for SC/ST its 65%).
