i got 88 percentage in +2 board exam .i don't write Jee mains..can i get a admission in sastra University?

If you want to take admission in B.Tech in SASTRA University, Thanjavur then here is the eligibility criteria for the same ;
- Candidates must have passed 12th exam with an aggregate of more than 60% .
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any among Biotechnology/Computer science/Biology/Chemistry or its equivalent.
Admission to B.tech is done under 2 streams :
- In 1st stream, 70% of the seats are alloted and in 2nd stream 30% seats are allloted.
- Under the category of Stream 1 , students are selected on the basis of their combined score of JEE Main and class 12 , and in Stream 2 only the score of class 12th is considered.
- In stream 1, 75% weightage is given to class 12th scores and 25% to JEE Main score. And for final merit list combined scores of the two is used.
- In stream 2, 100% of the weightageis given to class 12th score. There is no need to fill separate forms.
- In case a candidate has not appeared for JEE MAIN but applied through stream 1 , his score for JEE Main would be counted 0 but his 12th th score would be given 75% weightage for final score. And for the same in stream 2 , 12th weightage is given 100% . By default a candidate would be considered for both streams this way .
