I got 88.74 percentile in mht cet pcm group can i get admission in COEP for CSE branch and i belong to NT-C caste???
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
To answer your question, it is very difficult to get CS branch in COEP.
Colleges like VJTI and COEP are well known colleges, so even if you are a general category student, you need 99.90+ percentile in MHTCET for CS or IT.
EVEN IF YOU ARE A CATEGORY STUDENT you may need a minimum of 97–98 percentile for any branch in these colleges.
88 percentile means that your rank is more than 30 thousand out of 1.5 lakh students and in COEP CS the number of seats is 120.
COEP CS students are top 100 rankers in MHTCET out of 150000 students.
You can therefore try for CS branch in other colleges like:
- K. J. Somaiya College of Engg, Mumbai
- DY Patil College of Engg, Mumbai
- VESIT, Mumbai
- SPIT, Mumbai
- SPCE, Mumbai
- Thadomal Sahani, Mumbai
- SIES Graduate School of Technology, Mumbai
- D. J. Sanghavi College of Engg, Mumbai
- KJSIEIT, Mumbai

I hope this helps.
Thank you.
