You have not mentioned your category. Since you have not mentioned your category, I am considering you as a GENERAL Category student. Now, looking at the previous year JEE mains cutoff for General category student, in order to get branches like ECE, CE, ME, etc. in any good NIT's you have to get a percentile of around 96-98 in JEE mains. further, if you are from a reserved category, then getting a percentile score of around 90-91 in JEE mains can fetch you some of your preferred branches in good NIT.

No you can't get seat at the mentioned percentile if you belong to general category. For the general category you need to score 95+ percentile to get seat in the NIT's. If you belong to any other category then please do mention.
