In certain courses LPUNEST is mandatory, like if your are seeking admission in B.Tech, MBA  courses then LPUNEST is madatory, without LPUNEST you are not eligible for admission, However in certain courses like BA, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory, you can get admission based on your previous qualification.

You can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA, BCOMM, BSc and BA programs do not have mandatory entrance test as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs.
