i got 94.38 percentile in jan out of 112000 candidates. b.archnow in sept 60000 has appeared.my jan rank will improve or decreas

Hello,

The official statistics of number of candidates appeared for JEE Main September session are not yet released but yes there is a decrease of 7.12% in JEE Main registration for September session. So the number of candidates appeared for JEE Main September session will decrease compared to the number of candidates appeared for JEE Main January session.

It depends on the percentile that you score in September session whether your rank will be higher or lower than January session. In January session 112679 candidates appeared for JEE Main Paper 2 as the number of candidates appeared in September session will decrease, if you score 94.38 or above percentile then your rank will improve. Your overall expected rank for January session will be around 6332. The formula is (100-your total percentile)*112679/100 where 112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE Main Paper 2.
