Hello Narmadesh,

Selection in iim is totally based on CAT exam. Applicant have to register and apear to the CAT exam with minimum 90%.applicant must score minimum of 80% in each of three section of CAT exam.

Second stage is interview

Interview is taken by the group people associated with iim,be it the faculty. Group discussion are not there at iim A/B/C but are there at others

Third stage is conversion:

Every institue has certain criteria for selection where your CAT score and academic history and your interview are taken into consideration to select you.

I think basic 50-60% minimum requirement would be for all iims and some thing above 85% will give you decent application rating and though Some iim it can be as high as 95%

Thanks

Hi,

See if you want iim you need to give the cat exam that is common aptitude test. You need to prepare for english , aptitude , logical reasoning etc. So score well out of 200 upto 180 and youll get iim . All the best!
