Hello student,
Congratulations for result.....
To say about education and college and institutions you need to go through what u need.... And some times if there is a luck factor u may get what you want.....
So what I want to tell is just attend the counciling and just get to know which college you get....hopefully u will get a good one...
If u didn't get what u have expected just look about the review of the college you got like By consulting the old students and knowing how many good people has come from that college
Later even if you are not satisfied just take a drop...... But mostly try to not to take a drop bcoz 1yr is not a joke......
All the best u will have a bright future don't worry........
You have got about 100 marks in Jee mains this year.
Well, dropping a year solely depends on the child, if you think you can invest proper time to studies, if you can work hard, practice daily, be consistent and most importantly if you think you can score better than what you have scored this year, definitely you can take a drop and study seriously for achieving your dream of getting into iits.
All the best for your future.
Thanks for contacting careers360.
Taking drop alway don't prove good to everyone ,my advice is that you take a college and don't take drop.for any good IIT you first of all need to clear JEE advance and with a good rank you can get a good IIT .
But there are good chance of getting nit college .why don't you take any nit college .
Aur any government college .but if you want to take drop ,you can take ..
It totally up to you .
