As you got 96.5 percentile in Jee Main paper 2, your expected rank would be 3943 and it can increase is the no. Of candidates gets increased in the April Session. At this rank, it is difficult to get Top NITs like NIT Trichy, Rourkela, Calicut etc but based on previous years' cutoff, you can expect NIT Hamirpur, Nagpur, Raipur. Otherwise, you can appear for April Session and fetch good marks. Try to secure a rank under 2000. Most of the top NITs get filled within this.
