According to your marks your chances in getting into a government medical college is quite slim. But don't lose hope. You can make more better in the next exams and you can have a bright future ahead. Marks can't judge someone's knowledge. All the best..

With 97 marks, your All India Rank will be around 9 to 10 lakhs approximately. Since you are from the ST category, you will get a lower category rank. Still you do not have any chances of getting a seat in government medical college with this rank. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it. You should rather drop an year and start preparing for NEET 2021.
