NIT Manipur was established in the year 2010 from its temporary campus at Government Polytechnic situated in Takyelpat, Imphal, with only three branches in the field of engineering, namely, Electrical Engineering , Electronics, and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering . National Institute of Technology has been shifted to its permanent campus located in Langol, Imphal in Manipur. The university has added two more engineering branches after 2013-2014 like Civil Engineering and Mechanical engineering . • IIIT Bhubaneshwar

• NIT Hamirpur

National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is one of the 31 NITs of India which was established on 7th August 1986 as Regional Engineering College. This was as a result of a joint effort of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
