i got 97.97 percentile with a rank of 2890 in mhtcet. i got SPIT EXTC branch in cap round 2. what are the chances of me getting PICT CS/IT or even SPIT CS?

Your chances of getting either PICT CS/IT or SPIT CS is very with your percentile of 97.97 and rank of 2890 in MHT-CET as the last year cutoff of PCIT CS and IT were 600 and 1300 respectively and SPIT CS was around 400 in 3 round but you can expect Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in PCIT.
