I got 98.16 percentile in mains this year ..Will i be able to opt for CS in NIT

according to your percentile your general category rank should be around 16K.
NTA have not officially declared any cut off lists yet but according to previous years data the closing rank for CS for top NITs( General category/non home state quota) was 15821( for NIT Hamirpur).
For NIT Durgapur it was 15523.
For NIT Tirchy it was1140.
For NIT Calicut it was 4822.
For NIT Bhopal it was 6827.
For NIT Allahabad it was 3504.
So you still have High chances of getting CS in other NITs and fair chances of getting at NIT harimpur.

Hey,
congratulations on getting such good score. Your percentile is really good and you have high chances of getting in nit for CS. But nothing can be predicted for now. In the april session of jee mains exam more students will be appearing for the exam. This would change your current percentile and ranks. So wait for april to get the final lists.
