I got 98.42 percentile. I am from general (ews).I belong to andhra pradesh. is it better to join mechanical engineering in top nits or to join ece in low nits.

Hey.
Being an engineering student  i will suggest you to choose the branch which you actually like. No matter what you choose, in the end of the day you have to put your efforts into it. And it you dont enjoy what you have taken then there is not point of taking it, as it will not take you anywhere.
So, choose anyone, either mechanical or ece, only when you like it and ready for rest your life to continue with that stream.
