Based on your percentile in JEE mains, you will get core branches in some of the newer NITs and IIITs. Also you can surely get the non core branches in old NITs. I would suggest you to wait till the last rounds of JOSAA counseling and also apply for the CSAB counselling round so that you might get the chances of getting core branches in some old NITs and IIITs. If you are from ST, SC, OBS or PWD category, you have high chances of getting core branches. All the best.

With your mentioned percentile , your rank would be around 10k for (general category), have high chances of getting CS/IT branches at the newer NITs ( NIT Arunachal, NIT Nagaland, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Delhi etc) and non core branches at the old NITs.

You can go for any nit or iiit and will get top priority that is either computer science and engineering or Information technology, if do not want this then go for electrical and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, chemical Engineering, according to your interest.
