Dear Student,

22K rank is not a bad score to get any seat in SRM, you just have to wait for the next round of counselling and there is a chance that you may get your preferred seat in the next round of counselling. Because some students will leave their seat for seat for any reason and university also keep some extra seats for the next round. I have seen students have got IT seat in the rank of 23K, so just participate every round of counselling until you get your seat.

There is a very slim chance that you will grab this branch. Frankly, I suggest either you should figure out if you want to take admission in another branch or you should follow your passion and give other entrance exams like COMEDK, VITEEE etc. Never trade branch with college. Work hard and try again if you can.
