I want CS branch

That's really tough because most of the people wish to opt that branch.  But yes lock your branch choices smartly and clg too... You will have to compromise with either college ranking Or with branch.  Make up your mind for either being branch oriented Or college oriented... My suggestion would be to stick to a branch and then search for colleges.  Because at last what matters is your knowledge and interest in your domain.
