With a rank of 8469, chances of getting a seat in CSE in Coimbatore campus is low even if you have home state quota. Usually the cut off for CSE is around 1400 and 2000 for students with home state quota.

In other campuses, like Amritapuri, the general cut off is around 6590 and 16470 for students having hone state quota.

So, you do have a chance at Amritapuri and Bangalore campus if :

1. You have a home state quota.

2. Or you are a reserved category student.
