Since Manipal is a private college, it accepts admission, through Management Quota, and therefore, you should not expect to get CSE at nominal fees through this rank. Also, the algorithms, by which they calculate the rank is not out-sourced, some say they count your wrong answers, in case of coinciding marks, therefore you should not expect a very good rank through these marks. Also, the seats for CSE are around 300 therefore, it will be very hard. Also, the seats for IT are around 170 so similar is the story for IT. But you can get in other campuses of MIT such as in Jaipur or Sikkim.

The core branches like CSE, IT, EEE, Mechanical, ECE, etc have around 220-240 students per batch. The other branches vary from 60-110. In the first year, there'll be 85-90 students a class. Later years it reduces to 60 students per class.

The fees of MIT is quite high, so remember this while opting for MIT. The result of MET 2019 will be announced probably in the first week of May.

Admissions to Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal; Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University, Jaipur will be through MET 2019. According to previous year data, you can get rank near about 8000 to 10,000. And this is really a prestigious rank and hence you can get CSE branch as well.

The result of MET 2019 will be announced probably in the first week of May.

The minimum rank required to get admission is the cutoff of MET 2019.
