Hello dear

Yes ofcourse you have to go to the finally alloted seat after 7 rounds for the confirmation and to pay the remaining fee .

But if you are upgraded in between the rounds and you want that seat than you have to freeze that seat and go for their for the acceptance.

Hello Aspirant,

If you opt to Float and got upgraded in the upcoming round of JOSAA counseling. Then to choose Float/Freeze the seat you have to go to the RC. If you choose to freeze then you have to give an undertaking to the institute and accept the seat. If you choose to Float and got upgraded than you it's your choice to accept/deny it. Hope this information is helpful.
