I got admission for civil branch in CET. Can I try for spot allotment for CS in the same college?

Congratulations for cracking the CET examination.
You mentioned that you have got a seat in civil engineering seat in College Of Engineering, Trivandrum.
But your desired branch is Computer science and engineering.
You can try for the spot counseling. If your rank is better then you can definitely get your desired branch.

Thank you for the replay and wishes.I read somewhere that the candidates got admission in Government colleges are not eligible to particiapte in spot allotment for the same course, is it not right?
