Upgradation in subsequent round including Mop Up round is compulsory in Maharashtra NEET UG 2021 Counselling. Second round seat allotment is released on March 8, 2022. If you are not satisfied with the seat allotment then you can opt for upgradation in subsequent rounds, if conducted or mop-up round. So you may opt for upgradation if you wish to get seat in MBBS. You must not fill status retention form in order to participate in subsequent rounds of the counselling. If a candidate fills status retention form then it indicates that the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment and doesn't want to participate in subsequent round. You must have joined in the allotted institute in Round 1 or Round 2 in order to participate in subsequent rounds. The schedule for the upcoming rounds will be released in due course. So please stay updated regarding the schedule for the upcoming rounds. The options filled in first round will be considered for all rounds of the counselling. Hope you are doing great. So, if you had got BDS seat in round 1, then you will definitely have the chance to upgrade. But, in the question you particularly, specified that, you got the same seat in round 2 also, so, there are chances for you in the mop-up round. You can upgrade it. But, most of the times, you may get the same seat, as there are only little seats left in the mop-up round.
