Consider these points while deciding:
- The amount of fees you are paying Vs. the amount of value that degree holds
- College reputation
- Opportunities available to you at both places
- Academics and Faculty
if KIIT is offering a higher median salary then it is also charging a higher tuition fee. Being a private college KIIT can afford to arrange better facilities for your money and also arrange better placement seasons for its graduates.
If you go solely by reputation then a government college might be good but usually, any government college which is not an IIT or NIT is not that revered outside and the only benefit you get is affordable fees and a sense of self satisfaction. Think of your fees as an investment and decide whether going for a college which offers better facilities takes priority in your mind over a state college which is affordable but not much else.
