First of all congratulations on getting such a greta scores in 10th and 12th exams. here only you are clearing so many eligibilty criteria. If you want to pursue MBA from some elite colleges of india such as Old IIMS I am listing down the processes where you will end up being in some great colleges.
Following are the general criteria and process for CAT 2019.
CAT exam is to get admitted for the courses like PGPEM, PGP, PGP-ABM, PGPBM, PGP-UAE, PGPWE, PGPPM, EPGPM, PGP-Mumbai, PGPSM, PGDHRM, PGDM, and PGPEX so applicant should go through the eligibility criteria to acknowledge that whether he/she is fit to appear in this exam or not.
- Candidate should have done graduation level courses in any of the streams
- Minimum marks attained in graduation level course fixed at 50% marks or have done with equivalent CGPA. However, reserved category candidates can apply if 45% marks are gained.
- If the candidate is in the final year of the graduation course then he/she can also appear in CAT 2019 examination.

- Reserved seats for SC Candidates: 15%
- Reserved seats for ST candidates: 7.5%
- Reserved seats for OBC: 27%
- Reserved seats for the person with disabilities: 3%
This pattern of percentage can be changed as per the year by Government on India
Fee for Applicant Form:Applicants under NC/OBC and general category need to pay Rs.1600/ as registration fee and for SC/ST/and Person with Disability need to submit a small portion of just Rs.800/. Admission Process:The process of admission is plain. It is based on the scores that the applicant has gained in the category like group discussion, written ability test, and personal interview. While short listing and ranking the candidates, institutes can check the academic and working background. Further, these institutes also consider academic performance and other related inputs of the candidates as well.
The entire question paper consisted of 100 questions. These questions based on data interpretation, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and quantitative ability. Exam duration will be 3 hours. Candidate will appear in the examination using online mode. For every question, 3 marks will be added and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect question. However, if the candidate has not answered the question then no mark is given to it.

During intial years of your graduation, it would be great if one can brush up the basics by revisting the school classes. Go through the quantative and verbal concepts you have learned during 10th and 12th STD since those will be immense help once you start offf your preparation for CAT.
