I got compartment in one subject this year (2020) but also received my neet admit card. However anywhere i consult i am told that i am not eligible for neet. Can someone explain weather the thing is i CAN give neet even with compartment but unless i clear it i am not eligible for admissions
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
You can appear in NEET examination as your result is not checked in examination centre so it doesn't matter even if you have failed in your 12th board examination, now that admit card has been released for you ,you can appear in NEET examination
But yes, even if you manage to qualify Neet examination you cannot get admission in Medical College .
This is because,
You have have failed in your 12th board examination and thus fail to fulfill Neet eligibility criteria which says that
To be eligible you must pass your 12th board examination with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st .
But if you managed to qualify your compartment examination and fulfill above percentage criteria and get your compartment result before the first round of Neet counselling then you will be eligible for taking admission
So don't worry appear for Neet examination and give the compartment examination and if you get your compartment result before first round of Neet counselling you are all safe
