As you have not mentioned the name of exam in which you scored this rank so your question is incomplete. But generally in any examination let it be JEE Mains too you can't get admission in government college with this rank. Your rank is too high to get seat in any government college. You should go for prrivate colleges which are good at academics and placement field.
