I got CSE category 3 in VIT VELLORE campus as backup. Already filled forms for JEE, COMEDK, GGSIPU AND JIIT NOIDA. Is there any college at par or better than VIT except bits whose form I should fill? I got 80 %ile in JEE. I am from Uttar Pradesh and budget is 10-15 lakhs. Pls. exclude MIT,SRM ,KIIT.

No doubt VIT is a good college, nit only in terms of placement but also in the lifestyle and freedom. If you are getting CSE in VIT or IT in VIT Vellore, I would suggest you to join (if fee is in your budget). Other than this, you can try Thapar College, Delhi Technical University, Punjab Engineering College, RV College of Engineering, Amity University( a bit expensive), UPES (if you get scholarship, otherwise it is also expensive).
These all above mentioned colleges are counted as the top reputed engineering colleges of India and mode of admission varies depending on the college.

see vit vellore is excellent for admission to computer science courses. if fees is not matter to you you should go for it, VIT vellore is better than GGSIPU Or JIIT noida as per placement, infrastructure, students review, students faculty ratio. however if you have got changes in top five nits or bits than I would recommend you to leave vit vellore and take admission to nits or bits.
